The course aims to provide an understanding of concepts, methods and tools of managerial economics (both micro and macroeconomic level) in the economic activity.

Learning objectives:

  • Development of the capacity for rigorous analytical approach to economic issues, through the use of specific tools;
  • Understanding macroeconomic indicators and how economic cycles and fluctuations can impact the industry and the company;

  • Acquiring the ability to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to solve real economic problems;
  • Development of the capacity to transfer theoretical accumulations and scientific instruments in economic practice;

  • Development of research skills in the field of economics to identify viable information needed for company-level decisions.
